On the occasion of the Italian Cuisine Week in the World, the Consulate General of Italy in Jeddah organised different events in the city, in collaboration with numerous Hotels, Restaurants, Supermarkets and local Importers. In this 3rd edition, the leitmotif has been the presentation of the Mediterranean Diet and its ingredients. The Starred Chef Angelo Troiani from “Il Convivio” and the really young Chef Simone Coletti from “Acquolina”, were the special guests of this year. During the week, three different events were organised and reserved to the business men and women of the city, who had the chance to taste the four dishes presented by our Chefs. Furthermore, the Consul General Elisabetta Martini cut the ribbon at three local restaurants, inaugurating the special menu proposed for this initiative.
