For the issuance of the CIE, it is essential that the applicant:
- be an Italian citizen regularly residing within the consular jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Italy in Jeddah;
- be registered with AIRE through their competent Italian municipality. To this end, applicants must verify their AIRE registration through their consular record on FAST IT, also checking that all their personal details are correct and complete (e.g. first and last names);
- have their birth certificate transcribed in Italy, as the details of the transcription must be included on the CIE.
IMPORTANT: If, following the necessary checks, it is not possible to proceed with the issuance of the CIE, the appointment will be cancelled. The applicant will be informed of the reasons for the rejection and will have to repeat the procedure through Prenot@Mi once their status has been regularized in accordance with the instructions provided by the Consulate.
