The CIE is issued by appointment only. Appointments must be booked exclusively through the Prenot@Mi platform. It is not possible to request an appointment (or request a change to an existing appointment) by email or at the public information desk.

The appointment is free of charge, personal, and cannot be transferred to third parties.
Every citizen over the age of 18 must book their own appointment individually. If, in addition to the adult applicant, you wish to apply for CIEs for minor children, you must book a multiple appointment and enter the names of the minors in the designated fields.
If the appointment is exclusively for a minor child, you must book a single appointment and indicate in the “Notes” field for whom the appointment is being requested.
If the appointment is for minor children only, you must book a multiple appointment, entering the first child’s name in the “Notes” field and the names of the subsequent children in the designated fields for the multiple appointment.
