Certificate of Existence in Life – 2026
Please be informed that INPS has announced the launch of the verification campaign concerning the continued existence of pensioners residing abroad. The campaign will run from 20 March to 18 July 2026.
Old-Age Pension – Seniority Pension – Civil Disability Pension

Social Allowance
Italian citizens residing abroad are not entitled to the Social Allowance or to the civil disability pension, and it is illegal to collect such benefits through a representative (proxy) in Italy.
The Pensions Office monitors the payment of such pensions and promptly reports any cases to the territorially competent INPS office for suspension of the benefit and subsequent recovery of any sums unduly received.
