This month\u2019s sectoral focus is dedicated to the <strong>biomedical and prosthetics industry<\/strong>, an integral part of the medical technology sector and one of the most advanced segments of Italy\u2019s manufacturing and innovation ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The sector combines engineering excellence, specialised healthcare expertise and a strong export orientation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, Italy\u2019s medical technology industry generates approximately <strong>\u20ac18.5 billion in value<\/strong>, ranking fourth in Europe with a market share of 11.7%. The sector comprises <strong>4,618 companies, including 2,743 manufacturers, and employs over 130,000 people<\/strong>.
